San Diego Comic Con at Home 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic closed fandom conventions in the US. Comic Con opted to hold a virtual convention, free to all. This is the first time something at this scale has been attempted. I hope it becomes part of a model for future fandom shows.
Panel: The Most Dangerous Women at Comic-Con: Building a Better Heroine
Up first is this panel. The team took us through well thought observations of what women have been in the past and how things have been changing for the better. Not all is well - there is still progress to be made. They shared some of their favorite advances and some tropes that still show up.
